AQX provided the structural engineering services for two-story high-end custom home with an area of 36,000 sf and a full basement. 35’ tall shoring systems with diagonal bracings were designed to protect the properties on neighbor’s side. 24” thick mat foundation is used for differential settlement mitigation due to large variations of fills at the site. Long spans of steel beams are used at the subterranean garage to support the large front court yard at the street level.
